This is how the first meeting of The AI Collective Bogotá took place.

Updated: 5 days ago

On August 20, Bogotá witnessed something special: the launch of The AI Collective , a space designed to discuss artificial intelligence in a friendly, practical way, free of unnecessary technical jargon.

For three hours, six guests shared how they are using AI to solve specific problems in their organizations and communities. What's most inspiring is that none of them are AI developers, demonstrating that this technology isn't exclusive to programmers, but rather to those who dare to apply it with creativity and purpose.

Beyond the presentations, what really made the difference was the atmosphere. Each attendee contributed questions, ideas, and experiences that enriched the discussion.

This is just the beginning. The Bogotá chapter will continue to hold monthly in-person meetings, an open space to share projects, discuss challenges, and work together to build collaborative and responsible artificial intelligence.

Thanks to Giovanni Stella, César Trujillo, Ozzy (Arturo) Ospina, Salomón Muriel, Diana Paola Medina Casas, Mónica Peláez and William Ortiz , for inspiring us with their experiences and showing us that the future of AI is built in community.
